Brazil has extended its entry ban on foreign nationals traveling by land from eight Latin American countries for an additional 30 days beginning April 2.
Key Points:
Additional information: The entry ban implemented last month was initially to be in force for 15 days. An air travel ban to Brazil remains in force for all travelers, with the exception of Brazilian nationals and a limited number of other travelers.
Analysis & Comments: Employers should anticipate significant disruptions to employee mobility and rearrange travel schedules for affected travelers accordingly. The response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, and Deloitte will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
