The Toulouse Préfecture in southern France will soon implement a new online appointment system. What does the change mean? The online system will replace the current process, which requires applicants to wait in line for an appointment. The online system will begin accepting appointments Monday. Implementation time frame: May 14. Visas/permits affect: Any permit or visa that requires an appointment at the Toulouse Préfecture. Who is affected: Foreign nationals who need immigration-related appointments in the Toulouse Préfecture Impact on processing times: Applicants may experience delays in the days following the change, but ultimately the new system is expected to save time because applicants will not need to wait in line for appointments.
