United States | CBP launches new Trusted Traveler App

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that it has launched a new Trusted Traveler mobile app that combines application management and Global Entry arrival processing into a single platform for Trusted Traveler Program members. The new app replaces the Global Entry and Trusted Traveler Programs mobile apps today, Sept. 15, 2026.

Key takeaways:

App consolidates membership management and arrival processing. The new app streamlines Trusted Traveler Program services by consolidating membership management and arrival processing into one platform supporting Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI and FAST applications and memberships. Global Entry members can use the app to confirm international arrivals at participating U.S. airports.

Membership information automatically transferred. Existing members can log in using their current credentials, with profile and membership information transferring automatically. Users can update profiles, schedule enrollment interviews and renew memberships through the app.

Additional information: Currently, 85 airports and multiple CBP Preclearance locations support the new Trusted Traveler App. Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST membership are not being replaced — only the mobile apps are changing. Learn more about the new mobile app here.
