Immigration News - Brazil COVID-19: Entry requirements eased Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) April 8, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The Brazilian government has eased its COVID-19 entry requirements for fully vaccinated travelers. Key Points: As of April 1, fully vaccinated Brazilian and foreign nationals can enter the country if they have proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before departure. Proof of vaccination can be a physical or electronic document and must show that the individual was vaccinated 14 days before departure. Brazilian nationals and foreign nationals who regularly live in Brazil may now enter the country without being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who are not fully vaccinated and who are eligible to enter the country must have proof of a negative antigen or PCR test taken within one day before departure to enter the country. Additional Information: Proof of previous recovery from COVID-19 will not be accepted as a means to enter the country. Travelers who are unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine due to medical reasons are exempt from the vaccination requirement and can enter the country by completing this form.
