The French government has increased its entry requirements for unvaccinated travelers from the U.K.

Key Points: 

  • As of Nov. 1, unvaccinated individuals traveling on the Eurostar train from the U.K. to France must take a COVID-19 test upon arrival at Gare du Nord.  
    • If travelers test positive for COVID-19 upon arrival, they must enter a mandatory 10-day quarantine.  
  • The U.K. is currently listed as an amber-list country, meaning:  
    • Fully vaccinated travelers from the U.K. must present proof of vaccination and a sworn health statement; such travelers face no restrictions to enter the country. 
    • Unvaccinated travelers from the U.K. must have a compelling reason to enter the country and must have a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 24 hours of departure, a sworn health statement, a sworn statement to take a COVID-19 test after arrival and a sworn statement to quarantine for seven days and take another PCR test at the end of the quarantine period.
