The French government has updated the national minimum wage and salary requirements for certain permit holders.

Key Points:

  • France’s monthly minimum wage will increase by almost 1% to 1,603.12 euros or 10.56 EUR per hour.
  • The national minimum wage change increases the minimum salary requirements for the following permits:
    • Talent Passport – Employee on assignment to 34,627.32 EUR.
    • Talent Passport – Qualified employee to 38,475 EUR.
  • Applications filed before Jan. 1 are subject to 2021 salary requirements.

Additional Information: The minimum wage for EU Blue Card holders remains 53,836.50 EUR per year. More information regarding salary requirements is available here.
