IMPACT – MEDIUM
What is the change? Employers are reminded that the Angolan Company Employee List (known as the RENT) must be prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security in April.
What does the change mean? The list must detail all employees, regardless of nationality, who are employed by the company as of March 31. Lists must be submitted between April 1 and April 30.
BAL Analysis: Employers should begin preparing to submit their employee lists and should be sure to meet the April 30 deadline, using the prescribed template and preferably submitting online. Those who fail to comply with this requirement face being deemed noncompliant by the ministry and could face a penalty.
