Immigration News - France Online visa filing expanded Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) September 28, 2021 The French government has increased the number of immigration application types that can be filed online through its portal. Key Points: As of Sept. 27, individuals may now submit the following applications and requests online: Change of address. Change of civil status and family situation. Duplicate residence permit. Temporary residence permit. Beginning Oct. 11, individuals may request movement documents for children under the age of 18 online. Additional Information: The expansion of online services is meant to streamline the application process while reducing in-person processing during the ongoing pandemic. BAL Analysis: The platform is designed to save applicants time by making it easier to submit certain information only once in the application process; however, applicants should expect the possibility of delays during the transition to the new process.
