The Peruvian government has updated its entry requirements for citizens, residents and non-resident foreigners.

Key Points:

  • As of Jan. 16, Peruvian nationals, foreign residents and non-residents who are 12 years of age or older, regardless of their country of departure, must show that they received the complete applicable doses of COVID-19 vaccines at least 14 days before departure.
    • Travelers who are not fully vaccinated must have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure to enter Peru.
  • Peruvian citizens and foreign residents with travel history in Botswana or South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival must have proof that they are fully vaccinated, and a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure.
    • Non-resident foreigners with travel history from Botswana or South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival are not allowed to enter the country until at least Jan. 30.

Additional Information: All passengers traveling to Peru must complete a health affidavit before arrival.
