What is the change? Malawi has launched an e-visa for tourists and business travelers.
What does the change mean? Employees are now able to conduct short-term business travel using the e-visa. Tourists can enter Malawi on the e-visa and stay for up to 12 months.
Additional information: Visa duration varies and will be granted for the exact duration of the visit to Malawi (for example a visa for a five-day business trip will be granted for five days), up to a maximum initial visa duration of 12 months.
Applicants can access the e-visa portal here. The fees vary from $50 to $250.
