The Japanese government has expanded the availability of electronic tourist visas to more countries.
Key Points:
Additional Information: Applicants will be required to login into the Japan eVisa website and show “Visa issuance notice” to appropriate authorities at the airport when traveling to Japan. PDFs, screenshots or printouts of the page will not be accepted.
BAL Analysis: Japanese authorities expanded the availability of electronic tourist visas to simplify the application process for eligible foreign nationals and reduce the number of paper filings.
