Chile has extended its border closure through the end of June to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, including virus variants.
Key Points:
Additional Information: All existing COVID-19 related restrictions remain in place and will continue to be enforced. This extension follows the guidelines set in the original border closure posting.
BAL Analysis: Chile will continue to enforce its strict entry and travel restrictions until at least June 30. The response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, and BAL will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
