The Brazilian government has temporarily suspended the issuance of new passports.
Key Points:
Additional Information: Those who are in need of a new passport for emergencies are still able to apply for one. More information regarding the suspension of issuing new passports is available here.
BAL Analysis: The Brazilian government suspended the issuance of new passports due to a lack of funding and resources to produce new documents. BAL will continue to monitor this development and will provide more information once it is available.
