Work permit application to be submitted online

Taiwanese authorities have announced that work permit applications will soon be submitted online.

Key Points:

• Once the change takes effect, applicants will need to submit work permit applications through this website.
• Taiwanese authorities have not yet set the exact implantation date but plan to implement the change on or around July 30.
• To submit work permit applications, employers must create an account with the Workforce Development Agency to use the online portal.
