Key Points: Once the change takes effect, applicants will need to submit work permit applications through this website. Taiwanese authorities have not yet set the exact implantation date but plan to implement the change on or around July 30. To submit work permit applications, employers must create an account with the Workforce Development Agency to use the online portal. BAL Analysis: Employers should ensure that they have an account with the Workforce Development Agency before the tentative July 30 implementation date so that they will be able to submit work permit applications online.
