Emily is a Staff Attorney in BAL’s Dallas office. She works on all aspects of employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. She enjoys challenges and leveraging her strengths to navigate the ever-evolving immigration landscape for clients. Prior to joining BAL, Emily was an attorney advisor in the Department of Justice and supported immigration judges in the Executive Office for Immigration Review. She was involved in the adjudication of removal cases, advising immigration judges, providing legal research and analysis on novel and complex issues, and drafting polished judicial opinions. During law school at Texas A&M, Emily volunteered extensively in immigration legal services, served as a student attorney in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and was the president of the immigration law student organization. She is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a member of the Eldon D. Mahon Inn of Court.
