Immigration News - Taiwan COVID-19: Entry restrictions for certain foreign relatives reduced Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) April 20, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The government of Taiwan announced that it would allow certain foreign relatives to apply to enter Taiwan. Key Points: As of April 12, foreign relatives of Republic of China (R.O.C.) nationals and Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) holders who are living in Taiwan can apply to enter Taiwan. To enter Taiwan, such individuals can submit a special entry permit application at any Taiwanese overseas mission for the purpose of visiting an R.O.C. national or ARC holder who is living in Taiwan. More information on the application process for the special entry permit is available here. Additional Information: Other individuals who can apply to enter Taiwan while COVID-19 border measures are active include those traveling for education, business visits, investment purposes, contractual obligations and employment, among others.
