Immigration News - Peru COVID-19: Entry requirements updated Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) January 24, 2022 The Peruvian government has updated its entry requirements for citizens, residents and non-resident foreigners. Key Points: As of Jan. 16, Peruvian nationals, foreign residents and non-residents who are 12 years of age or older, regardless of their country of departure, must show that they received the complete applicable doses of COVID-19 vaccines at least 14 days before departure. Travelers who are not fully vaccinated must have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure to enter Peru. Peruvian citizens and foreign residents with travel history in Botswana or South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival must have proof that they are fully vaccinated, and a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure. Non-resident foreigners with travel history from Botswana or South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival are not allowed to enter the country until at least Jan. 30. Additional Information: All passengers traveling to Peru must complete a health affidavit before arrival.
