Yellow Fever vaccination required for certain travelers

The Paraguayan government has is now requiring some travelers to be vaccinated against Yellow Fever to enter or leave the country.

Key Points:

• Paraguayan nationals and foreign nationals must have proof that they are vaccinated against Yellow Fever if they traveling to or from Bolivia, Brazil, Peru or Venezuela.
• Travelers must submit the International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever when purchasing a plane ticket to enter or leave the country. Without the vaccination certificate, Paraguayan nationals and foreign nationals will not be able to travel to Bolivia, Brazil, Peru or Venezuela.
• Paraguayan nationals and foreign nationals who do not have proof that they are vaccinated against Yellow Fever must carry out a 10-day health control measure from the day they return to Paraguay.

Additional Information: Those who cannot receive a Yellow Fever vaccination for medical reasons must have a certificate issued by a medical professional and authorized by the Ministry of Public Health and they must carry out the 10-day health control measure upon arrival.
