Immigration News - Netherlands COVID-19: New entry rules for travel from outside EU, Schengen Area Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) December 22, 2021 The Dutch government implemented new entry rules for those traveling to the Netherlands from outside the EU and Schengen Area. Key Points: As of Dec. 22, travelers from outside the EU and Schengen Area must provide proof of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure or antigen test taken within 24 hours of departure. As of Dec. 22, travelers from very high-risk areas, regardless of their vaccination status, must undergo a mandatory self-quarantine for 10 days. Individuals can shorten the quarantine by testing negative on the fifth day of quarantine. Exceptions to the mandatory quarantine and testing requirements remain in place and can be found here.
