Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority Offices will be closed for the High Holidays, including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.

Key Points:

  • The office closings are as follows:
    • Offices will be closed for Rosh Hashanah Sept. 22-24, 2025, with regular services resuming Thursday, Sept. 25.
    • Offices will be closed for Yom Kippur Oct. 1-2, 2025, with regular services resuming for most locations on Friday, Oct. 3. There will be no public reception at Nof HaGalil office on Oct. 3.
    • Offices will be closed for Sukkot from Oct. 6-14, 2025, with regular services resuming on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
  • The National Service Center will not provide telephone service during these closures.
  • A variety of services can be completed online on the Authority’s website without the need to visit an office.
