Immigration News - France Online filing of resident permit applications expanded Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) October 10, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The French government has expanded online filing of residence permit applications. Key Points: As of Sept. 28, nationals of EU countries, European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland can submit new or renewal residence permit applications online through this website. Eligible foreign nationals must submit their identity documents proving that they are a national of a qualifying country to apply online. Eligible foreign nationals can use the online system to apply for residence permits while they currently live in or outside of France. BAL Analysis: French authorities have expanded online filing for certain foreign nationals to streamline the application process. Additional improvements to France’s online filing system are expected to be implemented in the coming months, and BAL will provide updates as information becomes available.
