Immigration News - France Minimum wage to be increased Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) July 29, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The French government has announced that it will increase the monthly minimum wage on Aug. 1. Key Points: France’s monthly minimum wage will increase by 2.01% from €1645,58 to €1,678.95, increasing the wage requirement for: Intra-company transferees (ICTs) to €1,678.95 per month. Passport Talent – Employees on Assignment to €3,022.11 per month. Passport Talent – Qualified Employees to €3,357.90 per month. The new salary requirement will apply to new applications submitted on or after Aug. 1. Previous salary requirements will be used for applications that were submitted before Aug. 1. Additional Information: The minimum wage for EU Blue Card holders remains €53,836.50 per year. More information regarding current salary requirements is available here. BAL Analysis: The minimum wage was raised because of an increase in inflation in 2022. Authorities will re-evaluate the national minimum wage in January 2023.
