Key Points: As of May 1, France’s monthly minimum wage increased by 2.2% from €1,678.95 (about US$1,839) to €1,747.20, increasing the wage requirement for: Intra-company transferees, to €37,739.59 per year. Passport Talent — Managerial positions, to €62,899.20 per year. Passport Talent — Qualified Employee, to €41,933 per year. The new salary requirement applies to new applications submitted on or after May 1. Previous salary requirements will be used for applications that were submitted before May 1. Additional Information: The minimum wage for EU Blue Card holders remains €53,836.50 per year. More information regarding current salary requirements is available here. BAL Analysis: Businesses may see a slight increase in labor costs because of the new minimum wage. Employers should take the new wage minimums into account and adjust their budgets if necessary.
