Immigration News - France COVID-19: US moved to red list, health measures increased Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) January 4, 2022 The French government has moved the U.S. to its red list, increasing entry and quarantine requirements for all travelers from the U.S.. Key Points: Red-list travelers, regardless of vaccination status, must: Undergo a ten-day quarantine upon arrival. Provide proof of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 48 hours of departure. Travelers must additionally provide: A sworn statement certifying the individual does not have any COVID-19 symptoms or has come into recent contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 A sworn statement that the individual will take an additional PCR or antigen test upon arrival. A sworn statement that the individual will quarantine upon arrival and take a PCR test at the end of the quarantine period. Individuals traveling from the U.S. who are not fully vaccinated must have a compelling reason to enter France. Those who are fully vaccinated do not need a compelling reason to enter but must follow the protocols listed above. A full list of France’s entry restriction’s and health protocols can be found here.
