Positive lists of shortage occupations updated Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) January 6, 2023 IMPACT — MEDIUM The Danish government recently updated the Positive List for People with a Higher Education and the Positive List for Skilled Work. Key Points: As of Jan. 1, the Positive List for People with a Higher Education contains 40 occupations, including Architectural Technology and Construction Manager, Electronic Engineer, Financial Analyst, IT Architect and IT Engineer. Architect, Energy Engineer, HR Consultant and Production Engineer are no longer included on the list. The Positive List for Skilled Work now has 36 jobs, including Foreman, Sales and Account Manager and Machine Constructor. Buyer and Construction Manager are no longer included on the list. The positive lists will be in effect until at least June 30, 2023. BAL Analysis: Danish authorities update the positive lists based on current labor shortages and market needs. Current Positive List permit holders can continue to renew their permits if they continue to meet general renewal requirements even if their job was removed from the list.
