Immigration News - Brazil Real Estate Investment Visa validity increased Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) August 22, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The Brazilian government has increased the validity period of the Real Estate Investment Visa. Key Points: Brazilian authorities have increased the validity of the Real Estate Investment Visa from two years to four years. Foreign nationals who currently hold a Real Estate Investment Visa can apply to have their visa extended for an additional two years. Once foreign nationals have held Real Estate Investment Visas for four years, they will be eligible for indefinite residence in Brazil. Real Estate Investor Visa holders must remain in Brazil for at least 14 days, every two years, counted from the day they register with the Federal Police. Previously, they were required to stay in Brazil for at least 30 days every two years.
