Immigration News - Brazil COVID-19: Entry requirements updated Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) September 20, 2022 The Brazilian government has updated its COVID-19 entry requirements for fully vaccinated travelers. Key Points: As of Sept. 12, Brazilian and foreign nationals can enter the country if they have proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before departure or proof of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within one day before departure. Proof of vaccination can be a physical or electronic document, and it must show that the individual was vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. Brazilian authorities will not accept proof of previous recovery from COVID-19 as means of entering the country. COVID-19 entry requirements do not apply to children under the age of 12, cargo or transport workers or people affected by humanitarian crises. Additional Information: Travelers who are unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine for medical reasons are exempt from the requirement and can enter the country by completing this form.
