IMPACT – HIGH

South Korea and Singapore reached an agreement to support essential business and allow official travel between the two countries via a Fast Lane.

Key Points:

  • Individuals who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:
    • Residents and long-term pass holders from South Korea or Singapore who have remained in the country for 14 days or more before departing, and who wish to travel for essential business and official purposes.
  • As part of the Fast Lane application process for essential travel to South Korea from Singapore, a sponsoring South Korean company or government agency must apply for a Quarantine Exemption Certificate for the applicant. Singapore residents who have visa-required passports must apply for a visa at the South Korean Embassy in Singapore. They must also obtain two COVID-19 PCR tests: one 72 hours before departing and another upon arriving at Incheon International Airport in South Korea. Entering and exiting South Korea can only take place at Incheon International Airport. For more information about pre-departure and post-arrival measures, please click here.
