Peru has extended its national COVID-19 emergency and updated travel and entry policies. The following policies will remain in effect until at least May 30:

  • Non-resident foreigners who have traveled from or transited through Brazil, India or South Africa within 14 days of arrival into Peru will not be permitted to enter the country until at least May 30.
  • Non-resident foreigners from the United Kingdom are permitted to enter the country as of May 8.
  • Peruvian citizens, resident foreign nationals and non-resident foreign nationals wishing to enter Peru must show proof of a negative PCR or antigen test.

Additional Information: Peruvian citizens and resident foreigners traveling from or transiting through Brazil, India or South Africa will be required to undergo a mandatory quarantine for 14 days starting the day of their arrival.
