Immigration News - Peru COVID-19: Entry restrictions, health protocols updated Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) September 29, 2021 The Peruvian government recently updated its entry restrictions for Peruvians, residents and non-resident foreigners. Key Points: As of Sept. 25, Peruvian citizens, resident foreigners and non-resident foreigners traveling to the Peru from any country must: Have a negative molecular test taken within 72 hours of departure. Authorities suggest that individuals be fully vaccinated and show their vaccine records. Non-resident foreigners traveling from or who have been in South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival in Peru are barred from entering the country until at least Oct. 3. Peruvians and resident foreigners who are traveling from or who have been in South Africa within 14 days of intended arrival quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
