The Peruvian government has updated its entry requirements for Peruvians, residents and non-resident foreigners.

Key Points:

  • As of Nov. 15, travelers who are 12 years of age or older, regardless of departure country, must have completed the complete dosage of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before departure.
  • Travelers who are not fully vaccinated must have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure to enter Peru.
  • Travelers who are under the age 12 are exempt from the entry requirements above but must be asymptomatic to board a flight to Peru.

Additional Information: Nonresident travelers who are traveling from or have been in South Africa within 14 days of indented arrival remain barred from entering Peru until at least Nov. 28. Peruvian citizens and residents who have been in or are traveling from South Africa must carry out a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival.
