  • As of Feb. 12, travelers are no longer required to take a COVID-19 test before or after arrival, quarantine upon arrival or complete entry registration.
  • Norwegian residents, individuals who hold a valid visitor’s visa and those who are able to enter the country without a visa can now freely enter the country.

Additional Information: Individuals traveling to Svalbard are still required to have a valid COVID-19 certificate, receive a negative COVID-19 test before travel and take a COVID-19 test within 24 hours after arrival. More information regarding travel to and from Svalbard is available here.
