The Mexican government has adjusted the processing fees for many application types.

Key Points:

  • As of Jan. 1, processing fees for the following application types are as follows:
    • Employer registration — 346 MXN (about US$18.45).
    • Work visa — 219 MXN.
    • Dependent visa — 219 MXN.
    • Study and reception of documents (migratory condition) — 1,632 MXN.
    • Exchange, issuance or renewal for one year — 5,108 MXN.
    • Exchange, issuance or renewal for two years — 7,654 MXN.
    • Exchange, issuance or renewal for three years — 9,693 MXN.
    • Exchange, issuance or renewal for four years — 11,488 MXN.
    • Reissuance of photo credential for one, two, three or four years (temporary or permanent resident) — 1,573 MXN.
    • Exchange, issuance or renewal for a permanent resident — 6,226 MXN.
    • Exit permit — 522 MXN.
    • Work permit (with a previous migratory condition or for students) — 3,835 MXN.
    • Naturalization process (years of residency in Mexico, original country or have Mexican children) — 8,395 MXN.
