Immigration News - France Minimum wage to be increased Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) April 21, 2022 The French government has announced that it will update the national minimum wage on May 1. Key Points: France’s monthly minimum wage will increase by 2.65% to 1,645.58 euros per month. The new salary requirement will apply to new applications submitted on or after May 1. Previous salary requirements will be used for applications that were submitted before May 1. Additional Information: The minimum wage for EU Blue Card holders remains 53,836.50 EUR per year. More information regarding current salary requirements is available here. BAL Analysis: The minimum wage was raised due to an increase in inflation in 2022. Authorities will re-evaluate the national minimum wage in January 2023. BAL will continue to monitor salary requirements and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
