The U.K. government has announced that as of Aug. 2, travelers to England who have been vaccinated in Europe or the U.S. no longer need to quarantine upon arrival.
Key Points:
Additional Information: Testing requirements for certain critical workers who do not mix with the public or leave their vehicles have also been relaxed.
BAL Analysis: This forward move is the result of a second review by the UK’s Global Travel Taskforce, which first recommended the “traffic light system” of categorizing countries as red, green or amber based on their risk for spreading COVID-19, as BAL reported in April.
