What is the change? Angola has relaxed visa requirements for business visitors.
What does the change mean? Nationals of Botswana, Cape Verde, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, the Seychelles, Singapore South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe are now eligible for visas on arrival. Moreover, business visitors can conduct business activities on a tourist visa, and the validity of tourist visas has been extended from 90 to 120 days.
Analysis & Comments: The government of Angola has begun relaxing visa regulations for business visitors with the aim of encouraging business and foreign investment. The relaxed visa policies are good news for employers, as they will ease requirements for business travel to Angola. It is important to note, however, that while business activities will be permitted on tourist visas, paid work activities will not.
