Join BAL’s Diane Holcombe-Geddens on the “Will the Doctor be Back?” panel at the 6th Biennial Physician Immigration Law Institute for a discussion on the increasing complexities of international travel. Today, securing a visa does not ensure CBP admission and travelers face additional challenges such as travel bans, visa processing delays and electronic device searches. This session will explore current trends in consular processing and at U.S. ports of entry, provide special considerations for Canadians and the alien registration requirement (ARR) and address the implementation of travel bans, available exemptions and issues related to administrative processing and extreme vetting.
