Qatar | Hayya card validity extended

Key Points:

• The last entry date will be Feb. 10. The extension applies to World Cup Hayya entry visas or entry visas approved through the online platform.
• The visas allow for multiple entry, use of the Immigration Counter for entry and exit via the country’s ports and the ability to invite up to three family members or friends.

Additional Information: The Hayya card was created as an entry permit into Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament. The government is extending the validity of the Hayya card so visa holders can attend the AFC Asian Cup Qatar in January as well as other state-sponsored events.

BAL Analysis: The Hayya card allows immigration officials to streamline the entry process for fans and visitors in accordance with applicable visa rules and regulations. This extension should make it easier for travelers to arrive and attend additional sporting events and activities hosted by the state.
