Employers are reminded to submit their annual Angolan Company Employee List (known locally as the RENT) to the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security by April 30. What does the change mean? The list must detail all employees, regardless of nationality, who are employed by the company as of March 31. Implementation time frame: The filing deadline isApril 30. Who is affected: All Angolan companies are required to file a list of employees. Business impact: Companies that fail to file are subject to penalties. Next steps: Employers should plan to submit the list online or manually. BAL can assist in the process. Background: Employers are reminded that if they fail to file by the deadline, they risk being deemed noncompliant by the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security. The RENT can be submitted to the ministry online and must detail all employees of the Angolan company, both local and foreign nationals, as of March 31. A standard template format must be used.
