Immigration News - Canada COVID-19: Testing requirements lifted for fully vaccinated travelers. Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) March 18, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM The Canadian government has announced that it will lift certain COVID-19 testing requirements for fully vaccinated travelers. Key Points: Beginning April 1, fully vaccinated travelers entering the country by air, land or water will no longer be required to take pre-entry COVID-19 test to enter the country. Fully vaccinated travelers arriving before April 1 must still follow the COVID-19 pre-entry testing requirements available here. Individuals are reminded that they may have to take an on-arrival COIVD-19 if selected for a mandatory random testing. Additional Information: Travelers still must submit required documentation in the ArriveCAN app before arrival in Canada. Testing requirements will continue to be in place for partially vaccinated or unvaccinated travelers. More information regarding Canada’s border measures and entry requirements is available here. Individuals can check if they qualify as fully vaccinated in Canada here.
