Immigration News - Japan COVID-19: Additional vaccination certificates accepted Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) June 21, 2022 The Japanese government has added to its list of countries from which it is accepting COVID-19 vaccination certificates. As of June 9, Japanese authorities recognize vaccination certificates from over 100 countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the U.S. and most EU countries. Regardless of a traveler’s departure country, individuals must have proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before departure to enter Japan.
