Immigration News - COVID-19, Hong Kong COVID-19: Quarantine requirement to be ended Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) September 26, 2022 IMPACT – MEDIUM Hong Kong authorities have announced that they will end their COVID-19 quarantine requirement. Key Points: Beginning Sept. 26, travelers entering Hong Kong will no longer be required to quarantine upon arrival. Travelers must have proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 24 hours before departure instead of a PCR test taken within 48 hours before departure. Travelers will still be required to take a PCR test upon arrival and undergo a medical surveillance at home or in a hotel for three days after arrival. Residents of Hong Kong who are not fully vaccinated will be allowed to enter; travelers over the age of 11 who are not residents of Hong Kong and not fully vaccinated will not be allowed to enter.
