Immigration News - Argentina COVID-19: Borders to be reopened to some nonresidents Share this article LinkedIn Facebook X (Twitter) October 27, 2021 IMPACT – MEDIUM The Argentinian government announced that it would open its borders to visa-waived nonresidents on Nov. 1. Key Points: Beginning Nov. 1, nonresidents from countries that do not need visas to enter the country, such as Australia, the U.S. and most European countries, can enter the country as tourists for 90 days. To enter the country, eligible travelers must: Submit an entry affidavit 48 hours before departure. Have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 of departure. Have COVID-19 health insurance. Have proof of vaccinate (if applicable). Take an additional PCR test within five to seven days of entering the country. Additional Information: Individuals who have proof that they are fully vaccinated will not have to undergo a quarantine upon arrival. Business travelers must declare their purpose for travel when entering the country on a tourist visa.
