Attorneys Serving the Community 37th Annual Luncheon

BAL is a proud sponsor of Attorneys Serving the Community’s 37th Annual Luncheon benefiting Crossroads Community Services. Crossroads Community Services is the leading hunger relief provider in southern Dallas. Last year, it distributed more than 11 million pounds of food. With inflation, CCS’ mission to support economic stability and health for low-income households is more important than ever. 1 in 5 children in Dallas County is food insecure. CCS offers its clients generous, accessible, and nutrition-focused assistance.

The luncheon will feature guest speaker Chef Kwame Onwuachi. Chef Onwuachi is the James Beard Award-winning executive chef at Kith/Kin, Esquire Magazine’s Chef of the Year, and author of Notes from a Young Black Chef, published by Alfred A. Knopf. A former Top Chef contestant, he has been named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs, Esquire Magazine’s Chef of the Year, and a 30 Under 30 honoree by both Zagat and Forbes.
