Se Young is an Associate in BAL’s Dallas office, where he helps corporate clients secure top talent through employment-based immigration. His practice focuses on intracompany transfers of executives, managers and employees with specialized knowledge (L-1) and on first preference visas for certain multinational managers or executives (EB-1C).

Prior to BAL, Se Young represented corporate and individual clients on various nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including H-1B, O-1, TN, L-1, E-2, EB-1 and national interest waivers. He also has experience in family-based immigration, naturalization and removal defense before the Chicago Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Se Young’s passion for immigration law stems from his upbringing in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. He understands the struggles of being far from home and hopes to deliver peace of mind to his clients through exceptional service.

Se Young is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and searching for the best burger.
