Roey is an Associate in BAL’s New York office, managing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. They skillfully handle cases for H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, EB-1A extraordinary ability, EB-1B outstanding researcher and EB-1C multinational manager. She also has experience in national interest waivers, PERM and adjustment of status. Prior to BAL, Roey advised corporate clients on compliance with U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations for clients in various industries, including financial services, software and technology, and the arts. Roey is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association and the Lambda Legal Emerging Leaders Council. During law school, Roey served on the Cardozo Law Review. In their spare time, she enjoys traveling and theater.
