Richard Christensen

Richard is a Senior Associate in BAL’s Tysons office. He works on all aspects of employment-based immigration law, with a particular focus on immigrant visa and PERM matters, including advising corporate clients on their immigration and PERM programs.

Prior to joining BAL, Richard worked for seven years at a global business immigration firm, handling all aspects of corporate immigration. Previously, he ran an independent law practice that covered a wide range of legal areas, including immigration, contracts and litigation. Richard has conducted oral arguments before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and local federal and state courts.

Richard is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, training for triathlons and traveling to new and old places.
