Rania is a Senior Associate in BAL’s Houston office. She works on all aspects of Canadian employment-based immigration, specializing in corporate employee transfers, express entry applications, family class applications, work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments and employer compliance. Rania also has expertise with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement and other free trade agreement exemptions for strategic, expert and key professional employees and high-level executives. She collaborates with companies to facilitate the movement of personnel across international borders for global business growth. Prior to joining BAL, Rania served as the Canadian practice lead and senior counsel for a multinational, multiservice law firm. She managed a team that focused on Canadian outbound immigration by facilitating the relocation and employment of foreign nationals for numerous global corporations to their Canadian counterparts. Rania is a longstanding member of the Immigration and Citizenship Section of the Canadian Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice law in both Canada and the U.S. and offers comprehensive immigration services to individuals and multinational companies regarding Canadian and foreign work permit matters.
