Michael Miguel

Michael is a Senior Associate in BAL’s Santa Clara office. He works closely with business immigration and global mobility specialists on complex legal reviews and strategic guidance. Michael is passionate about untangling complex nuances in immigration law and policy and helping corporate clients improve their immigration programs and technology. He strongly values personal connection in all aspects of his work.

Originally from Guam, Michael’s practice focuses on employment-based immigration matters, including assisting companies and their employees with all facets of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters before the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor and the Department of State.

Prior to joining BAL, Michael worked for a well-established boutique law firm in the Bay Area, advising emerging startups and multinational corporations in industries such as e-commerce, software development, telecommunications, medical devices, food services, manufacturing and financial services. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Michael has been recognized multiple times as one of Super Lawyers Northern California Rising Stars.
