Matthew is an Associate in BAL’s Denver office. His practice focuses on building effective immigration strategies that allow organizations to attract, retain and mobilize global talent in fast-evolving industries through both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. Before joining BAL, Matthew served as an associate attorney at a boutique immigration firm in Philadelphia, where he represented a diverse roster of clients that included high-level corporate executives; researchers in engineering, computer automation and artificial intelligence; and international investors pursuing U.S. market entry. He also has deep experience in the sports and entertainment sectors, preparing immigration strategies for professional athletes in horse racing, bull riding, esports and major U.S. leagues. His work spans high-volume corporate programs as well as bespoke filings requiring detailed advocacy for individuals with exceptional ability or specialized expertise. Matthew is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and previously served on the Law Student Engagement Committee in the Philadelphia Chapter. Outside of his legal practice, Matthew enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading, playing guitar and cooking new recipes with his wife and their young daughter.
